Villa - Help Needed

Hi all, need your help

I am looking to rent a villa for 6 people for almost 3 weeks for next year. I am not happy about booking something through a TA as villas are allocated on arrival and I would like to see the place I am staying before I go.

Can anybody recommend some websites or villa owners (happy to go direct) as there is so many out there its giving me a headache.

Ideally looking for something within 5 miles of Disney and a gated community. We will need 3 or 4 bedrooms and must have our own pool. Looking at spending no more that £700 p/w

Also if anybody has rented a villa before would appreciate their thoughts on the experience.

we stayed in a villa back in 2002 before buying into dvc - we booked through all stars and were located off the 192. the villa was fantastic very spacious and clean easy to find and about 10 min drive from disney, however we felt very remote, there werent many other people around and it was very quiet - did not feel very "holiday spirit" if you like the idea of enjoying the parks but also being able to get away from it then a villa is great but if you want the holiday atmosphere not so great. all stars were great very professional - you could also look at "owners direct" we have not used them for florida but did for lanzarote - very easy and you deal direct witht the villa owners - hope this helps Cat

on our last trip we booked a package including a villa from Travel city Direct. We paid a little bit more to select which community our villa was in. We chose tuscan Hills which are quite new villas. It was lovely & we had no probs. Woukd def book with them again.
