I have been trawling villa websites looking for our next villa :surfweb: and have narrowed it down to a choice between one in Indian Point and one in Liberty Village but I am struggling to choose so looking for some advice.

The villas look very similar and from what I can tell the communities look close together (at least on the map) in a reasonable location but I have never been in either community.

Does anyone know if the locations are close enough to make no difference or whether Indian point is much closer the 192. Any comments on either community would also be welcome.

Thanks

Both are on Poinciana Blvd and very close to one another. We stayed at Cumbrian Lakes a few years back and the journey to WDW is very simple. Cumbrian Lakes is about 4 miles from the 192, and Liberty Village is next door (slightly closer to the 192). Indian Creek is closer, but not significantly so. Once you hit the 192, it's just a short hop across it onto the Osceola Parkway and you're on Disney property within minutes.

I think I'm right in saying that Liberty Village is newer than Indian Point. I'd be inclined to ask the owners for the dates their properties were completed and, everything else being equal, go for the newer of the two. Have you got any links to sites for the two homes that we could have a nose around?

As Deb says both are very close to one another, on Poinciana you have Terre Verde, followed by Indian Point, Eagle Pointe, Liberty Village and Cumbrian Lakes.

Only my opinion, but having stayed at both IP and CL, much prefer the latter.
The entrance to Indian Point is not particularly appealing as the older homes are situated there and mainly taken up by local residents.

Indian Point has a mixture of newer and older homes but is nothing like as nice as Cumbrian Lakes which is gated and very new.

I have never viewed the homes on Liberty Village.

The locations of these developments are very similar, Terre Verde is the nearest to the 192 junction but the remainder are literally right next door to one another - 10 to 15 minutes to the 192.

All in all for the newest and like I say just my opinion, but on Poinciana it would be Cumbrian Lakes or Terre Verde for me.
