Viggle App: Get rewards for watching television!

I got a great run of ads yesterday too. Morning and night. It was great lol. I was shocked to actually get a few 50pt Bethenny ads as well. The majority were 15ptads but that's ok because they definitely ad up when you're clicking away for 20mins or so straight. I couldn't even respond back to texts because I didn't want to stop the flow of the ads! It's actually happening now again so look out for them. Btwn check-ins (from thursday) and ads I accrued a lil over 4,000 pts yesterday. Too bad they don't have any rewards that I want right now.

Btw, I'm still in the "old" version. I don't want to update the app just yet.

It's simple. Download the Starbucks app and load your current card to your account. Cash out for a SB card on Viggle, get said card online, register it as a new card. Go to the new card, click transfer balance, and drag it to your old card. I've done it many times.

Also, the Slickdeals people think the $5 are disappearing because they are going to come back at 10,000. Only SB, Papa Johns, Hot Topic, and maybe one more are left.

Yep, this was my prediction a couple pages back in this thread. I'm positive Viggle will increase the other GCs. The Best Buy GCs increased by about 32%. If Viggle wants the other GCs to have the same point per dollar value, then they'll raise the others around that amount. Hence, making the $5 GC 10,000 points. And the $10 GC 19,000 points, etc.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH:scared1: All the GC i want are all out. Chili's, iTunes, CVS. I know that they will come back higher for sure. I stopped doing Target since they were so high. Oh well. It is still free money for Disney.

Trying to decide if I should cash out now in case they do raise the smaller gift cards. My husband and I both have about 20k points.

I know that the company has had a lot of financial issues and so I am cashing out every time I have 7,500 points at this point. It is not as helpful as when I could get the things that I really wanted/needed but some treats at Starbucks will be fun.

I am concerned that Viggle might be coming to an end. Even with all the changes and how hard it was to get points recently, I have appreciated the free stuff so I will miss it if it continues down this path.

How did you hear about the financial issues that they are having??

Someone posted it on slickdeals a while ago and I looked it up from their post. They are borrowing money from their parent company. The post was about the time they switched from 12,000 points a day to 6,000 points per day.

Yep! That is my plan too. SB and PJ are what I am gonna get now. Sounds like they really might be going under.

DH has been watching the NFL Draft all day. I just checked into when I realized it will run until 7pm!

I am also at 50,000 pts and I am just not sure what to do. None of the current small cards have any interest to me ( I would have done CVS but they are gone now too). Do you think Target is ever coming back?

Well, I just cashed out all my points for Starbucks as well. I don't go there much, but DH goes daily. I figure I can load them onto his card and pocket the money for Disney.

I don't know if their financial troubles are true or not but the 'rumors' may be why there is a run on the rewards leading them to be out of stock.

Things like this have happened on other paying apps I use and it took a while for the company to recover because everything they padded up their paypal, there was a run on cashouts which emptied their paypal account. It was a vicious cycle.

if you have 50K, I'd cash out for BB and buy an Amazon GC. But I shop a lot on Amazon so $25 there is always helpful.

Remember: You need to be checked into a Featured Show for a FULL ten minutes to get the bonus points. (I usually round up to 11 minutes just to be safe.)

So after 11 minutes I can check into another featured show and get the bonus points for that show as well? I'm new to this app.

Yes, you can get bonus points for as many feature shows you can watch as long as you are checked into each for AT LEAST 10 min. You can also get bonus points for feature shows you DVR or watch online up to 5(? I think ?) days after they originally air.

I just went to Target and used my e-cards from Viggle. I saved them all on my iPhone and combined them into one e-card, (thru the Target app.) I held my phone up to the cashier, and she used the hand scanner, and it worked! :thumbsup2 The cashier seemed taken back that it worked. But of course she seemed weird when I told her I had an e-card on my phone. Guess not many people save e-cards to their smartphones or something! Made me feel futuristic....:rotfl2:

I had about 65000 points as of just now. Really wanted Sephora and those are gone. On the fence about Best Buy and just decided to cash out for Starbucks. (5) I'm at 28000 points left, which if Itunes and Sephora come back at the 14000 point values I'd be thrilled with.

Or should I bite the bullet and cash out for 3 more starbucks? If this app goes under I'd hate to lose what I've earned.

Because if I think about it, $40 in starbucks is nothing to sneeze at. :thumbsup2

If there were any gift cards left that I was on the fence about getting, I would have redeemed for them. Viggle has mentioned that Sephora gift cards (and others) will return. There's no reason to think they wouldn't follow through....when Viggle has said a certain gift card was coming back, it always did. Maybe not at the same price point, but still.....:rolleyes1

If you're concerned about Viggle going under then you might want to cash out each time you get enough points....sitting on 20,000+ points seems too risky, that's a lot of points to lose! I redeem every time I hit 14,000 points....never kept a balance higher than that in weeks. :thumbsup2 Of course at the moment I'm sitting on 16,000 points waiting for Sephora to return! :headache:
