Ok, this is a question for all the ones who visited the resorts many times. I am wandering about the views you can get. We bought at SSR after going once and staying at the Poly lagoon view. Of course my daughter loved looking at Cinderellas castle, the fireworks, etc. What views do you ahve atother DVC resorts? What fireworks if any?? I cant picture in my mind where they are realtedto the other parks. Also, are the Poly and The Cont the only resorts on the monorail? Ok you can tell I am really new to this

Basically at OKW we have golf course, wooded or water way views. IMO, none is any better than another, no bad locations, at OKW. The most important things for our resort...

1) remembering that 1 bedroom and larger unit had a design change in building 30 and up, allowing a second entrance into the main restroom from the living room. Older units enter through the Master bedroom.

2) general location requests...near a bus stop, near a pool, near hospitality house...what ever is most important to you.

3) smoking preference

4) when reserving more than 1 unit, requesting they be "near" each other.

OKW park transportation is bus. There is a boat to DtD, that will be shared with SSR.

The Grand Floridian is on the monorail.

VWL has a view of WL and the quiet pool, the woods and dumpster and from some points a view of the lagoon.

Actually I loved the woods view...there is a swamp in the woods replete with creaking frogs. Quite Disney-esque.

I keep reading about something at SSR where you can watch fireworks.....does Dtd have a firework show nightly? Also, can someone tell me what the hospitality house is?

You can see the fireworks at EPCOT from the BWV's Boardwalk view and from the standard view rooms on the higher floors.

The Hospitality House is the name of the building housing OKW's front desk and Papa's Den, across from Olivia's. Basically, if you request being near Hospitality House, you're requesting to be near OKW's restaurant, feature pool, boat dock to DtD and the front desk.
