Great pictures, GP. I am at a loss, where is that first picture viewed from??

Loved your pictures. I am homesick.

Great pix! Where did were you when you took them??

Dan- all of the castle views were taken from our balcony at the CR :).....You've done sum great night shots...have you used a tripod? I think I should have....I waz also runn'in the cam on manual, I think I had teu so as to lengthen the exposure and get this ISO settings up to ASA800 ( ? ) the camera was a Nikkon Coolpix 5700

The thought crossed my mind that maybe the Contemporary, but seemed too close for that. The 5700 explains it!!!!! 8X zoom!!!! :earseek:

I have used tripod or some rest, trashcan, railing, pushing on the side of a tree or pole. You do need to have the camera steady for anything over 1/15. The shots look pretty well exposed though. Maybe an 800 would have been better. Not sure why the last two fireworks shots look like they do, sort of strange look to them.

Great job! I've made the first one my wallpaper!

Awesome Pics...
That pic of the castle is breathtaking...:)

Wow!! I have never wanted to even stay at CR but after seeing your photos I want to stay and stay in that room as well!!!:D :D

Beautiful pictures and I especially love the first one.
