We watched Wishes in MK last Thursday night, and I had a question that I hope someone can answer. They had roped off the lower seating area by The Plaza Restaurant and were only allowing people in with tickets/papers of some kind. What was this, and how can I get in on that the next time I go?

That's priority viewing. If you're on the Dream Maker it comes with it. I've heard of other ways to get it but don't know for sure. You can call 407-WDW-tour and see what they say.

Thanks for the info! I'll have to look into it the next time we go.

We had the preferred viewing for booking a package in May. It worked great at Epcot and AK but I at MK noone ever roped off that section, it didn't really work out for us there. Its a nice perk if they make it work right.

That is Preferred Viewing with silver/gold packages, which we used back in January. I have to say I was a little disappointed with it. Probably because we got stuck watching from right behind the only tree. I would suggest the open seating near Plaza Terrace counter service dining. They had good seats (actual seats, not standing) available up to about 1/2 hour before the show with a fabulous view of both the castle, fireworks, and Tink. Definitely my fave spot to watch the show!!
