I know this has been asked 1000 times but the search function is disabled and I just looked thru 10 pages and can't seem to locate this info. Please help!

We are staying at WL for the first time next weekend and I'm wondering if there is any place you can see the fireworks from the resort besides your room balcony.
I've read about windows in the hallways. What windows and which hallways specifically? I'm unfamiliar with the layout of this resort. I've booked a CY view but I'm not banking on being able to see anything from my room.
We missed Wishes last month due to an oversight so I'd really like to catch it this time even tho' we are not going to the MK. We will be at Epcot all day for the F&WF again!!

Any suggestions?

This was told to me by FloridaCat on the WL FAQ page 38 I think.

"If you can not view FW from the room you are assigned, you can watch them from the hall window by 5034"

Though I have seen where some people have said that Wishes is different from their previous fireworks and you might be able to see them all.

Hope this helps.

I have yet to view Wishes either, I'll be at WL next Friday and have decided to jump on the bus to TTC then watch from the Beach or Tambu Lounge at the Polynesian. Should only take a few minutes to get there. Plus they pipe the narration and music over the speakers.

kmermaid - Thanks, I think that is what I read too. Are there windows on every floor or only the 5th as indicated?

Anyone know how the room #'s work so I can find room #5034? I know the 5 is for the floor but does the 0 mean anything? Evens on the outside or what?

MAGICINmyHEART - That's what I'm thinking too...just head over to the Poly like we usually do BUT we have dinner reservations at AP on Friday and we'll be at Epcot Saturday. I was trying to think of the shortest fastest route to the best viewing area. Not too much to ask is it? ;)

See you there! :wave2:

That would be in the North Wing so take the eleavators close to Roaring Fork Snack Shop we really need to ask FloridaCat as he is the one that gave the inf why don't you post on WL FAQ thread.

(Now I'm not 100 % sure about this but when we where hunting for Hidden Mickey's I beleive we where on the 4 th floor and there was an outside veranda that would have been above where you drive up and check-in I know the view was great but I can't say for sure I could see MK) I plan to check this area out also. Maybe someone else can help.....

That place is so hard to navigate! I got lost in there and couldn't find my way out! :p

That's why I posted my own neat little thread so all the WL experts would come to me!

Come on, I know there's gobs of WL know-it-alls out there! :crowded: :crowded: :crowded:

The reason many of your questions can be answered is because someone took the time to go through the posts and put it together.

Take the elevator near RF to the Norht wing 5th & 6th floor. Go to your left and there are a large window there with shutters, pull the shutters back and you can view the FW.

WLers. You should be aware that the new FW, Wishes, is fired off from different locations in MK. While you will still be able to see the high shots, the entire show will not be visible.

Thank you very much FloridaCat!

I appreciate any efforts to make the WL thread easier to sift through but when I looked at it that didn't seem to be the case. Have there been links put in to the various subjects? I waded through pages and pages of peoples room #'s which, while very informative, was not as succinct as I would've liked. Since I have never been to this resort before, it is hard for me to picture where anything is.

Thanks agin for taking the time to stop in and give your comments. :D

Understand, go to page one and AspiringCindy has all the room information. Go to page 2, Wilderness Layout. There are links to a map of the lodge, menus, room request faxing instructions. There is even a link I put in that has all the Disney songs Information on bus & boats., laundry, and much more.
Post a question and you have the most experienced. WL Vets at your beck and call.

Thrn after you have experienced the Magic at the Lodge you to can help enlighten the Newbies.

We could see them from our room #7048 when we went a couple of weeks ago . I did notice though that around the corner there was bank of windows facing the MK and people gathered there to watch them .

Have a great time
