I am wondering if anyone has any tips for good viewing spots for the parades - we want to see both the "Share a Dream Come True" parade and the "SpectroMagic" parades. Do they both follow the same route? We are going to be there with our 4year old daughter and 11month old son, and 2 strollers. Since the fireworks will start right after "SpectroMagic", I would want the spot to be good for watching both. Thanks!!!

there is a little time after the parade before the fireworks.

if you want both - that would be mainstreet up to the castle.

very, very, very busy area....so you need to be there at least an hour (if not two) before the parade starts...

if you want to spend your time elsewhere.

then go the end of the parade (generally - can be the beginning)- close to Splash Mountain....you won't get all the special effectives - but you won't get pushed around by other people.

I have even had strangers want me to move so they can have my place - after we waited for an hour...... :crowded: some tried to elbow me out.... People can get downright rude....

Love to watch from the train platform at MK. Also is a great view of the fireworkss from there.

I also love this spot...or on the steps at Tony's...this way you are close to the exit after the Fireworks.

When faceing the Castle small path to theleft goes into FL tables and chairs to sit or just lean on the wall .

Watch the Parade as it crosses the bridge get an unobstructed view but not right up on it .Then for fireworks you just turn towards Castle and there you are.

outside table and chairs - along the side where Casey's corner is located (I think).

boy I forgot about the train place!!!

love this site - everyone can learn or relearn a new thing!!! :thumbsup2 :cool1:

The spot we like is just before the entrance to Tomorrowland. If you are going down Main Street from the park entrance, stay on the right hand side.As you near the "circle" in front of the castle (area with the Mickey & Walt statue) keep bearing around the outside of it on the right. It's probably 1/3 of the way around that circle, if I remember correctly (but not actualy IN the circle).

Before you get to the bridge-way to Tomorrowland there is a set of benches. This is our spot. There is a popcorn/soda cart a bit before this spot, so easy snacking ;) .We don't usualy use the bench itself as I'd like to leave that to ones who really need to sit. Besides, if you sit down at the curb for the parade it's better viewing. This is also a great spot to view Tinkerbelle's flight before the fireworks.

We usualy had one parent hold down the fort while the other took the kids for their Mickey ears (with free name stitched on!) at the Emporium on Main Street. They usualy brought back popcorn or something to eat too. This only works for the beginning to id of wait time. DO NOT let any members of your party leave the spot 45 minutes to 1/2 hour before the parade. You will get squeezed out :crowded: Have fun and say "HI" to Tink for me when she flies over your head!

BTW, if any of my directions make sense to you, you are a wonderful person with an acute sense of deciphering gobbeldy-gook. My DH says I can't give directions to find my way out of a paper bag!

FL tables and chairs
What's this?
Thanks

Path to Fantisy land Starts at the end of the bridge on the left side of the castle I think it's a walk up window service during the day .There is about 5 or 6 tables with 4 chairs each right at the wall overlooking the water to the castle .If you look right it's right at the bridge for a great view of the parades and if you look straight it's right at the left side of the castle for the fireworks and lights on the castle.

It might be I just know the path ends in FLand and goes up along the waters edge of the castle.I think it is LS thanks Spiceycat couldn't for the life of me think where it started at.Thats the only time I go through that area .We are ussally at the end heading to HM and never come up as far as the bridge that way.We come down from FLand to the spot as the Parade route is full by the time we get there and it's easier from FLand.

Sorry had hard time explaining so here is where I'm talking about the path is not as wide as in the pic but this is where it is.

Red is area and BLUE is where tables are

Hey!! that's our spot ;) You are sooo right about it being a fantastic place to see Tink fly... that is our favorite part!! It does get crowded, but when everything starts it just doesn't matter anymore... :goodvibes

Great minds must think alike! I'm glad someone was able to decipher my directions, it's not my strong suit :teeth:
