Viewing Illuminations from Teppenyaki?

We have late reservations at the Japanese restaurant. I have heard rumors that there is an area (balcony?) at which diners can view Illuminations. Anyone know details, i.e., I assume you can't see from the dining table, but will we be blocking other diners' view, fighting park patrons for a spot, need to stake out a spot before it begins, or ? Thanks for any hints.

There is a balcony around the building. You have to go outside the restaurant to watch it, as the restaurant is enclosed. That's one of my favorite spots to watch IllumiNations! I wouldn't wait until just before to find a spot, as it can get quite crowded. And if you don't get a spot up by the railing, the view can be obstructed.
