Viewing FP+ ahead of time?

Is it possible to go and just look at the system? I have my tix linked for our July trip in the MDE app, but when I click to see FP+ selections for even tomorrow! it "must have valid theme park ticket" I wanted to get a feel for how it looked and see what seems to be available, just curiosity. Is it really going Tibet a mystery until my May selection date??

I have a July trip also, and I am able to book for the next 30 days. I am able to play around with it to see which FP are available without booking them. I purchased park tickets separate from my resort stays. Did you buy a package ?

I tried to, although my trip isn't until Sept. I think it is because it is a package and they know when we will be there.

I have an old non-expiring ticket that I have a few days left on. Could I link that to try to play with the system and get a feel for it. I am not going to be using that ticket when I go next time. If I link it will it not be good to use for future trips.

I too was worried about navigating the system. I really wasn't concerned a bit until they released the A & E fast passes, and I was afraid if I was unfamiliar with the system that I might would miss out. It was quite simple and an easy process. I posted a similar thread to yours ahead of time and a helpful person provided this youtube link that walks you through the steps of the process so you'll at least be familiar with what you'll see once your FP+ window opens.
