Viewing Animals at Lobby in AKL

My niece has reservations for Boma's in August. They don't want to go if they can't view the animals. Is the public viewing spot for seeing the Animals still open?

There's a HUGE number of them all over the resort. The easiest ones to visit would be the Arusha Savannah outcropping (off the lobby), the sunset overlook balcony (past the check in desk on the left, just off the lobby) and the multiple ones out by the pool area (at least 2, maybe 3+).;

All of them are open. Construction is interior at the hotel.

However there is no view of the savannas from Boma itself.
