View request at BWV?

We just booked a 2 bedroom villa at Boardwalk Villas. I have never stayed there. I would like to put in a request for a nice view, I would love an epcot/boardwalk view. We are not vacation club owners, booked through CRO. When we booked online it said view for villas were parking lot views. Do only DVC members get this view? Hoping for a little pixie dust we will be celebrating my friend and my birthdays.

Unfortunately, all the BW view villas are reserved for the exclusive use of DVC members. All cash paying guests get preferred pool/garden views. The parking lot views are all considered standard views and usually booked up by members with their lower point requirements.

Most likely, you will get Luna Park pool or the quiet pool. With Dolphin and/or Swan in the background. Sometimes a bit of Disney Studios as well.

When we stayed there last year we had a view overlooking the quiet pool. Every night I went to bed looking out of the balcony doors to a view of the Tower of Terror.

It ended up being one of my best memories on that trip! I'd ask for that view over a boardwalk view any day of the week!

That sounds really nice peachgirl. I hope for some sort of "theme Park" type view. I was really thinking of epcot, but now you have opened my eyes to DS. The quiet pool sounds nice, wouldn't want to look out at that creepy clown face pool slide I have been reading alot about many of the rooms are far away and you can have a long walk to get to Boardwalk/boat dock. Was it a long walk for you to the boat dock?

No, not at all. Ours was considered a water view. I just requested a room close to the elevators, high as possible with a view of DS.

We were just a few steps from the elevator and that took us right to the front lobby, out the front door and we were right at the dock.

While we aren't DVC owners, we rented points from an owner, and requested and received a wonderful Boardwalk view.

I'm also renting points from an owner for my May 2008 trip and will have a Boardwalk view
