View of MK from Poly Beach??

I was just looking at a previous thread, and saw some beautiful pictures of MK from Poly balconies - I'm really jealous!!!

We are staying in a garden view room at the Poly next May - would you say it was worth upgrading to a MK view room or can you still see the castle really well from the beach?? (just wondered whether the view from the balconies was so much better because it wasn't at ground level??!!)

the view from the beach is the same, but laying in your bed at night, watching the castle change colors......ahhhh

On our very first trip to Walt Disney World, which was 20+ years ago, we stayed at the Poly. The first night there, we took a walk on the beach and there in the distance was Cinderella's Castle, all brightly lit. The view is still etched in my brain to this very day. I thought, after all this time, we're finally here. Enjoy!
