Vienna sausages

:crazy2: I've never liked those. My daughter used to LOVE them. I hated them even more after one day when she threw one on the floor and I stepped on it.

Steph, you couldn't have waited 10 minutes to post that little story? :earseek: :earseek: LOL

I think that they are the most disgusting thing in a can. To me they look like little you-know-whats....:crazy2:

I am with you all, I think they are gross. But TBH I dont like most food.:D

When I used to go grocery shopping with DD, I'd read her the ingredients of Potted Meat Product, just to gross her out. It's on the shelf right next to the Vienna Sausages. I finally bought a tin of the stuff, and it's in our cupboard to this day.

Here's what the label says:
Mechanically Separated Chicken, Beef Tripe, Partially Defatted Cooked Beef Fatty Tissue, Beef Hearts, Water, Partially Defatted Cooked Pork Fatty Tissue, Salt, Less than 2 percent: Mustard, Natural Flavorings, Dried Garlic, Vinegar, Dextrose, Sodium Erythorbate, Sodium Nitrite
Now that's good eating! Nothing better than a heap o' partially defatted tissue!

Ewww! I think they are totally gross. My DH & boys like them. I can't even stand the smell. :faint:

Somewhere along the line, we started having vienna sausages with swiss cheese fondue(bread too, of course). Try it, it's pretty good.:D
