Videos of Club/Lab showing kids actually playing?

I want to show my son (8) a video of Fantasy Oceaneers Lab (mostly) and Club. Any video I see on Youtube just shows the empty rooms, and does not give a great impression. Although I admit that I would be the first to not want my kids filmed for the internet, are there videos out there (perhaps DCL promos) that show kids playing and the kind of activities they do? I know the Classroom must look a LOT more fun when there is Sloppy Science, etc. Thanks!

Yeah, adults are definitely not allowed to video/photograph the kids while they are in the club. They asked me to not take pictures of my own kiddo during Open House hours, which is probably why there are so few videos (if any) of kids in the actual clubs.

thanks for answering. I understand why they prohibit photography and videos and I am glad they hold people to the rules. Seems like DCL could have made a good promo with actors/ signed agreements to show the activities.
I know they have a 3 second snippet of kids jumping on the colored floor, but that is all I've seen.
I won't complain though since I don't want anyone filming my kids either. (Even themselves - I have two teens too. "Keep yourself off the internet!!!")

We're on the Fantasy right now and my husband was also told not to video or photograph our child last night while picking her up last nigh. We completely understood, but we had a hard time finding videos before we left too! They allow pics/video during open house times but I haven't taken any because I don't want to violate any other kiddo's privacy.

That being said, my daughter is having a BLAST in there! We can only get her out for meals (she could eat in there but doesn't want to)--otherwise she's constantly begging to go back in! :) She's particularly loved the "Super Sloppy Science", "Anyone Can Cook", "Detective School" and "Toy Story Boot Camp" (picture a youth leader dressed as one of the green Army men putting them through some fun paces) activities she's done. *I* want to be in there playing a lot of the time! She goes back and forth between the Lab and Club areas depending on what's going on. There are plenty of kids just hanging out and watching movies or playing video games but my daughter is constantly on the move so she's participating in any and everything she can.

Sorry no videos in the clubs, However I can say our grandkids love the clubs. We have a hard time getting them out of the clubs!!!, even for the pirate party.

Enjoy your cruise!

Can I ask how old your daughter is? We are cruising for the first time at the end of this year and I am hoping my kiddos will love the clubs. My daughter will be nine, son will be nearly five.

So, it's cool that they don't allow parents to take photos in the club during activities for the obvious reasons. Do they have CM's taking pictures that we can purchase at the photo store?

This year our 5 and 3 year old are going in for their first time outside of open house hours...

I have now seen these shops in Minneapolis and at least two California airports. I believe Portland has one. They're the next wave of retail. Very definitely not duty free shops - they often carry local beers and a selection of wine-hard stuff.

Not that I have ever seen.

Op I wonder if there are video ads on the planning video? I never watched the one we ordered and I don't know where it is so I don't know, but maybe. Of course it would be uncrowded no one yelling everyone's perfect, if it exists, but maybe it would work.

There are a good amount of events that the CMs take pictures at. If I remember correctly the pictures are usually with a Character or two or the crazy science guy. However if your child isn't actually doing the event but instead messing around doing who knows what, they won't get a photo. They give you the photo for free when you pick up your child (I think that's when I got it). I have one with my older son and Pluto. I think it was from a camp out event. The photos will end up in the video at the end of the vacation talent show.

I know it's not of them playing but it's something :)

Yes; she's currently eight, just shy of nine.
