I need help everyone.....I hadn't planned on getting a videographer, but all of a sudden I'm wondering if I'll regret not having one. I mean, I'm spending so much money just to have a Disney wedding, I'm wondering if I should get the video to capture everything....So here are my questions...

If you had one, was it worth it, would you do it again?

If you didn't do it, do you regret it?

How much time is generally needed for a videographer? I wouldn't think you'd need them as long as the photographer, right?

How long was your finished product?

Any suggestions or advice? I know who the popular vendors are, it's more specifics I'm wondering about. For instance, did you have the person speak and interact with guests or was it more of an outsider view? Did the people that watched the video tend to enjoy the slow motion footage or the more upbeat, edited footage?

Anything you wish you had done differently with the video?

Any help or advice is appreciated, thank you in advance!

Oops, I didn't see the thread below mine about this (sorry, I just woke up).

It sounds like people generally liked having a video, but I still have questions about the time length and style if anyone has insight.

It is so worth the money to have a video of you r wedding. My daughter used Disney videography and it was beautiful!!! she had upgraded her package and even had them tape the rehearsal dinner. They came at the same time as the photographer did for the wedding and stayed the whole evening. They taped the cocktail hour and even did interviews with several of the guests. We received the finished product about 8 weeks or so after the wedding. She got 6 copies of the DVD, so each set of parents, siblings and even some members of the bridal party could have a copy. I think the most important thing to a wedding are the pictures and the video since that is all you have left after the day is over. As years go by and members of your family and friends pass away you have that DVD to be able to relive that day and bring back all those priceless memories. It is worth all the money that you pay for it. By all means, you should do it but do your homework, check out prices and recommendations etc. If you don't do it, you might regret it someday when it is too late.
