Videogaphy Help Weird Question

Does anyone know of any videography that will do a live webcast of the ceremony??

We may have some close family that cant come so want them to be able to share our day as it happens

I don't know anyone that webcasts but Stan from STVS said that they do a quick several minutes summary of the ceremony on their website the next day.

That's an interesting question tho...

Maybe you could do your own? Set up a laptop with a webcam somewhere in the room so that everyone could follow along?

well. to put that in perspective, that's actually cheaper than some of disney's packages!

Stvs will put up a sneak peak after a couple of days. It might not be the next day, depending on what he has to do with it. He will then post the full video when he is done with it. We were married last thursday and he got our short clip posted today, he had to work on it because there was so much wind noise.

Yes I have spoke to stan about it and he said he could have the sneek peek up the same day but we are just not sure what to do yet.

3550 is alot of extra cash to find, Ok its still cheaper than disneys packages but we were hoping to kkep the cost to a min and that is a lot over our min spend on video!

Hi there, I'm new to the board and I have been looking on here recently for some ideas as we are getting married this March at the pavillion.
We also asked this question and they said that they have looked into this before and it would cost appox $3,000 as they would need to get the audio visual team in. We are still waiting on the actual costing. I could let you know when they get back to me if you want?

is that direct disney?? If you could that would be great, I dont think we want to spend loads of money on disney videography if i'm hnest cos their packages are so much more expensive than everyone else

We spoke with our planner about just setting up a webcam as only my family can come due to money and that was what we have been quoted but she said she would get the definate figures and let us know.

oh that would be a good option, we have just purchased a laptop to take to our planning session so we can always take it to the wedding with a webcam. My df sister may not be there and we have only just found out and as you can imagine he is quite upset so we are looking at options so they can see the ceremony

I've had a reply from our planner and apparently the wedding paviliion doesn't have any internet access so they can't offer a live web cast. I'm not sure if you would able to get someone in that could supply an internet connection or not.

My planner suggested doing a video ourselves and then going to a resort and uploading it from there.

Maybe if you could speak to your planner they may have another suggestion.

Maybe I can be of some help. I am a videographer, not a wedding one, but I have done a ton of live events that are very similar, and have done live webcasting. First of all, when you have your wedding filmed, usually they have multiple cameras, and they take their tapes, bring em back and edit them together. The problem with this is that the cameras are not feeding into anything like a switcher to mix the cameras live. So even if you hooked up a live feed to the web, you could only have one camera going out, unless the people you use for your wedding actually know what they are doing and have a mixer that would send out a signal from their switcher to the web. I think your best, and most cost efficient way to go about it is to get your final edit and upload it to the web. If you have any questions, let me know, this is my profession.
