Video Trip Report- April 27-May 4

Wow, does this qualify me has an international film maker?:lmao:

Certainly does! We expect to see you nominated at the Cannes Film Festival!!

I'm going to put a link on a UK site similar to the DIS so your fame will spread!!

Now, stop reading and get on with editing Day 6 part 2!!

I really love your trip report! What kind of camera did you use that would film underwater??? I thought you were a professional until I read the thread. What talent! The editing and music is just top-notch.:dance3: :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

Can I ask a question? Where did you mount your camera when you were on EE? That was really great video! Love your commentary. Love your titles. You are very talented, and I thank you for sharing your vacation with us.

Stephanie:cloud9:

Thanks for the props:thumbsup2

I have a small camera that I am holding while on EE. A lot of quality is lost on Youtube but if you see at the end of EE I include a shot of the "on ride photo." You can see me with camera in hand. The challenge is to not only try to smooth out the video but on EE the high head rests offers a very small field of visibility.

As far as the underwater shots, I use a spots pack. It is a waterproof housing made for the camera. Can't wait to use it on my 08 cruise:banana: .

It is huge and if you watch day 5 when we are at the gate for TL my best friend Bob makes fun of me a bit because it looks so funny. When I had it in the Beach Club pool everyone seemed fascinated by it. many people stopped me to say they thought it was cool or to ask questions about it. Even the lifeguards liked it.
Here is a picture.

Just wanted to say how much I enjoy your report, it's fabulous!

Wow...best trip report ever!!! Can't wait for more :thumbsup2 You def need to put a list of music you used in each report  Great Job! :cheer2:

This is the best. I love the music you picked. Now I really want to go back....RIGHT NOW!!

Thanks so much for putting this together.

just found this. I'm at work and can't wait to dig in when I get home!

Loved it! Thanks for the ride on Splash....it's one of my favorites. It's too bad the laughing place never looks as cool on video as it does when you're in there...too dark I guess. Gotta get one of those martinis!

For the suggestion box (is there a suggestion box?).... Edit your title to something like "The Coolest, Most Awesome YouTube Trip Report Evah!!!" OK...well that sounds kinda corny BUT you get the point. I really think this report is awesome and deserves to be seen and if a cheesy title lures people in then so be it. :flower3:

Chris,

I love Splash Mountain. Could feel that one drop :rotfl:
I have not done Space Mountain since 1980 and really want to do that one this time. Will have to try that drink YUM I wanna see lights!!!

Great addition! Really enjoyed it. Now that this video report has become very popular is there more pressure to give us a better show??? :)

Loved the Splash Mountain video! The drink looks pretty good too :thumbsup2

Chris

I don't know if you realize this, but people pay money for dvds of movies like yours. Like relivethemagic.com. I think your movies are better.

I am SO loving your trip report! AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME! I will be a repeat visitor when I need a Disney fix!

OMG what is your vocation (I'm just waitng for you to say film production) ?? Just found this thread and this is GREAT.. lol

Another great video!
How was Shutters? We have stayed at CBR several times but never ate there. What are the Shutters potatoes like?

We had a lot of fun and as you can tell from the video the staff were fun up-beat people.

the food portions were good sized. We did learn that the best way to ruin a prime rib is to smoke it:confused: .

We thought the meat was a little dry and the smoke flavor masked the true beef taste.

I was a little disappointed in the potatoes. They tasted OK but they weren't creamy at all. The sauce was too thin and the cheese was not blended into it so it just kind of lumped up. I did eat all of them but I was expecting them to be better. Would get baked next time.

If I do return it will not be for the Prime Rib.

Overall I felt the meal was very mediocre. I would give it 3 out of 5 forks because the service was good.

My final thought is that with so many dinning options to choose from when you are on property the place needs to be better than OK.

Side bar: Just to let you know where I am coming from since you asked for my opinion. We typically eat at the higher end places like Flying Fish, Yhatsmans, Folton's, and Le Cellar (before it was on the DDP of course, now I can't get a table) and then eat at the casual style sit down places to fill out the week. We purposely wanted to eat in nothing but the casual places on this trip for a bit of a change. We were hoping for a Kona or Maya Grill type meal but didn't get it.:confused3

hope this helps
