i have read that video taping is allowed and that it is not. I have also read photos are allowed on the rides and that they are not so i dont want to go and get in trouble i dont know if there are signs or if it is an unwritten rule.
also any good photo or video ops for the parks would be awesome.
Thanks

Filming/photos are allowed in park; it would be stupid of them not to!

As for the rides; naturally you can film all shows, but the rides will depend on the ride itself - it's always worth looking at the entry for the queue for signs advising if you can't, and if you do see a 'no photgraphy/filimng' sign, just ask the the ride ops that let you through if they mind you filming/photo taking on ride - often they say they don't mind even though there's a sign. They'll probably say only if you've got a secure wrist strap on it and things like that to make sure you don't lose/drop/throw them.

That said, some attractions they categorically will not let you do!

The only time I've ever had someone say something was at Disney and that was in Alien Encounter. Why, I don't know? Other times I had taped the pre-show without a problem, but one guy mentioned it as he walked by.

I am just careful to protect my camera and there are a few rides that I wouldn't want to be holding a camera on. I did tape space mountain with night vision on, though.

I wish I had gotten a good tape of the film from the Hitchcock attraction. The one I have is from when I put the camera on my knee to sort of be inconspicuous, but it turns out that it wouldn't have a been a big deal if I had just taped it. I have taped the film in O' Canada at Epcot and I know of several friends that taped stuff with films, and no one ever said anything. It's for personal use, and there are always camcorders going in most of the attractions at Disney and Universal.

Good, luck.

Btw, are you a Mac user? If so, I love mine too! :thumbsup2
