Hello,

I do not know if anyone has posted this already, but this local Orlando news report shows the robot technology (at least, the 2002 version) for the new Forbidden Journey ride at Universal in Orlando:

They start talking about the technology at the 4 minute mark.

Please note the following if you have not yet ridden FJ:

1) The ride does NOT go upside down
2) Each group contains four seats, instead of the two shown in the video
 
Thanks to all who have read my post, and who presumably have looked at the video clip.

I would be curious to get feedback whether you think that the range of motion showed in the video gives a true sense of how much we actually move in the FJ ride (I think that it does).

Also, I wanted to give this post a "bump" if that is OK :)
 
I would say the video shows a ride that's a bit more intense than FJ. The movements on FJ are smoother and there's no upside down stuff. You are on your back more than once and you do swoop a bit, but it doesn't feel rough at all.
