Is it possible to return a video game that the wrap was opened on and played for about 3 minutes once and was purchased a week ago from Game Stop?
I know this is probably a dumb question but I figure it doesn't hurt to ask. What happened is I bought Battlefield 3 for my son. Apparently, he wanted Modern Warfare 3 and I was confused. He opened it on his birthday 5 days ago, but didn't want to hurt my feelings and tell me it was the wrong game. So he decided to open it and play it and perhaps he would like it. Well, he played it for about 3 minutes and realized none of his friends have it so he couldn't play with them online and he got sad. When I asked him what was the matter, he confessed that it was the wrong game and he was wondering if we could exchange it. (I know I know, he shouldn't have unwrapped it, but he's 11, it was his birthday, and he is such a sweetie, he didn't want to be ungrateful for the gift.) So, has anyone attempted to return an opened game?
