I looked into Game Fly, but it seems rather expensive at $16/month for one game out at a time. Any other video game rental options? All of our local B&M movie/video game rental places are out of business.

Thanks!

Redbox is starting to offer games in some areas (not mine though)

I'd be interested to know too. We used to have gamefly and loved it, went back to sign up again and was shocked that the price went from $8/month to $16/month. :(

Blockbuster online now includes video game rentals as part of their dvd subscription (same price, no upcharge for the games). We've gotten a few Wii games from time to time when we were wanting to try one out. Only downside is it can sometimes take a long time to get the most popular games.

Family Video rents games and offers a monthly half price membership. How often you would rent would really determine whether it's worth it for you or not.

echo the blockbuster. it is movies and games delivered to your door :) we love it. they get the games, and we get movies. costs the same as it did for just movies.

Have you checked your local library? Mine has quite a nice selection of video games, including Wii and DS.

I would not recommend Game Fly. Shipping times are long, so in a month you might be lucky to get three games if you keep them for a few days at a time. And it's hard to get the popular ones even if they've been at the top of your list for a while. Our experience was about three years ago, so things may have changed though......
