Does anyone bring a video camera to the parks. We have thrown around the idea of bringing on, but at the same time i think its too much a hassle. Any opinions?

I've used my dslr as a vid cam. Beats grainy/blurry cellphone vids

Yeah, same as above. I use my video camera function on my digital camera rather than using my cell. I also have a Fujifilm water proof that I use to video water rides.

I love bringing my video camera. it's fun to look back at the kids having fun. I have a small one though that is lightweight and fits in my small purse, so it's not a pain to carry around.

I have a tiny Samsung HD digital waterproof video camera that we enjoy using for spontaneous moments. One parent on camera duty and another on video duty. :)

That all depends. If you want to shoot video of your trip, I would suggest bringing your video camera. If you have a backpack or something to put it in while you're not using it, you might want to try that. Some phones nowadays will take video. If you don't want to take your video camera than maybe you can use your cellular telephone as a video camera?
Another option would be to rent a locker and put your video camera in there while you're not using it. But then when you want to use it, open the locker and take some video of your trip. Then return the video camera to your rented locker.
I hope this helps.:wave2:

We brought our Go Pro to WDW last year and had a blast with it and got some good videos.....we are going to DL in March and will be taking it again:thumbsup2

Thanks guys, I think I will bring it and if i find i dont use it the first day i wont bother bringing it into the park the rest of the days

We used to always bring ours and about 2/3 of the way through the trip we would realized we never pulled it out to shoot video. We pretty much do everything with our cell phones because most of what we shoot is spur of the moment shots of our kids doing cute/dumb things we want to have recorded to later admire/blackmail with.
