Video Camera: Is It Worth Bringing?

We ahve made three trips since 1992 and I have lugged the camcorder around all three times. We NEVER get tired of looking at the videos and I would leave my wife home before I would leave the camcorder. (She doesn't read these posts) We take the camera everywhere.

I was surprised when I asked my teens the other day if they wanted me to take the camcorder this time. They said I should leave it home (or at least just take to the resort and not the parks) for our next trip, but - I'll be ignoring them, and I am sure there will be a lot of "stop it Mom, turn that thing off" as I am taping them, of course the more they say to stop it, well...! hee hee
