video camera help

I have a sony tv33 which is 5 years old now and would like something with better quality, if there is anything.
The footage is quite good but I get sort of smearing on trees etc and very grainy at night.
I would like a hard drive and nothing any bigger or heavier than this one

Thanks YEKCIM, I haven't got this site so I'll study it later.
Anyone have any personal experience though as these sites are often quite confusing.
