Do they allow video cam The Golden Mickeys and Disney Dreams? And did someone have the complete video clips of these two shows? I like to see them.

Before the shows an announcement is made, "No flash photography or video filming" of course that still doesn't stop some people for doing what they are told "NOT" to do.

Is that a no?

If you want to follow the rules, then the answer would be no.

We had a lady sitting a few rows in front of us during our August 2004 cruise using her video camera, it was very distracting to those sitting around her, but nothing was said to her. This is one rule I think DCL should enforce.

We also had some in front of us filming. It is very distracting as they had the "screen" open the entire time. I personally would rather enjoy the show there then film it and watch it over and over at such low quality. I too, wished that someone would make them stop.

On my last cruise, they only made the announcement "no flash photography" - Nothing was said about video cameras - Doesn't really bother me as long as the LCD screen is not flipped open!

I was just on the Wonder and my friend videotaped Disney Dreams from the TV. It runs simultaneously as the play is being performed. Her daughter has a problem with loud noises/voices/music, and so we enjoyed Disney Dreams in our stateroom. By the way, the video tape of Dreams came out well.

I recall hearing this is the reason for not allowing video, due to the screens being distracting.

I had no idea they did this! Do they do it for all the shows? We missed a couple of shows due to the toddlers early bedtime, and I would have LOVED to have seen them on the TV at least.
