Got my stuff today you guys are the best..What a great deal.....

I can't believe how I was treated. Very unfortunate. No free gifts were worth that. I won't shop their site or store again.

What I don't understand is, if they don't want you to get 5 (or more) things free, why do they have spots for SEVEN codes?? Most places only have ONE code box.

I only ordered once, but I really love my free gifts and I hope my sister loves the PJs I got for her Christmas gift.

ITA! The free gifts are so nice. I think I might put the lotions into the gifts bags I have for some close co workers of mine.

Your welcome to all who are thanking me for starting this thread, but the real thanks goes to the OP on slickdeals. :goodvibes I'm sorry to those who have had troubles with their orders and VS.

Well, I'm guessing it is meant for when you have several items that all qualify for different promos.
For example I bought a sweater so I needed a box for the free scarf. I also bought a pair of PJ's so I needed another box for the free slippers. If I had bought a bra then I would have needed a box for the free panties. etc, etc.

I'm sure they never meant for folks to get two gift packs and two pairs of slippers free with just one pj purchase.

That said, I absolutely don't think it's asking too much for them to have their web site set up so that you can't get more free stuff than you legitimately qualify for.
Plenty of other companies seem perfectly capable of doing so.

And I certainly don't think it was appropriate for the CS rep to be rude to a customer.
 

Another happy customer :cool1: I got my order today!!! Pajamas are soooo comfy as I sit here Dising in them ;) Had to make sure they fit right :confused3 . Slippers are still in the packages as I haven't decided if I am keeping 1 pair or giving both as gifts yet. And the other 2 freebies I LOVE how they came packaged because IF I decided to give them as gifts then they are very prettily packaged. I was a little worried on sizing as I am a +size (still losing weight but have gone from a 22 to a 16) so wasn't sure how the PJ's would fit. I ordered XL and they are roomy :banana: I ordered a 2nd set to be shipped to my sister but if they come they come, if they cancel I can't complain, I got 1 order for a GREAT price.

I can actually respect if they didn't want to allow more than one purchase. The issue I have with VS is that:

A. They didn't notify me that they cancelled the orders after allowing them to process through and sending an e-mail saying they were processing.

B. When I sent an e-mail inquiry they sent an e-mail back saying it was a mailing/billing issue and to call them and they would be "happy to assist".

C. When I called the comments were "you abused the VS coupons" and "You can repurchase the orders you paid for".

I am a director at an agency and managed a staff of 25 that took calls. We had a call program that quality scored our reps. My staff would never treat a client the way I was treated by VS. Maybe I am just picky because of my profession, but the chronic failure in customer service by all steps above is what is resulting in my frustration. There are ways to tell people they can't have what they want without being rude and accusatory. If your system is not capable of managing your business you don't blame the customer.

I am happy for the others that did not experience this. Xcited4Disney - this is no wise a reflection on you and I appreciate you posting as many people got lovely items. I was just reflecting on the customer service experience that I had.
 
I placed 2 orders on the 10th...the website shows both orders being shipped complete. I received two boxes yesterday.....
1st box...
2 pair slippers
1 set pjs
fragrance set
lotion set
missing cami

2 nd box
2 pairs slippers
fragrance set
lotion set
missing cami and THE PJ SET!!! lol the one Item I paid for wasn't there.

I did call and all three missing items were backordered and shipped yesterday.... the cami's by UPS ground and the pj's by UPS next day air.

So I should be getting my complete orders.

BTW...I didn't find the PJs to be oversized at all...I read somewhere in this thread where a few people said that the pj bottoms were on the large side....I don't think they are... not on the small side either, just not oversized.

I waited for quite a while to order the items, in case it was in error. But thousands of people were ordering, for many days, and you'd think that VS would have stopped it if it were a mistake. I did the same thing with the Saratoga Springs $38 Christmas offer last year. People were saying it was a mistake, but it was on Travelocity (up and down) for a week or two.

I have no idea what VS meant to do. But thousands upon thousands of people - not just here, but on Fat Wallet and elsewhere would have gotten in on this. If it wasn't meant to be, then usually the company will pull the plug quickly, and sometimes will cancel the orders and let guests know that it wasn't correct.

Orders are still going out - so I don't know. I am looking forward to mine.
 
Both my orders (order on 12/10) are scheduled to be delivered by UPS today. I checked my CC and only the original amount has been charged. Both my orders are being shipped as ordered (I didn't get the .25 perfume-too late) with the exception of my black cami which I just received an email that it's being mailed to me by USPS today.

So, it looks like I'm getting everything I ordered at the agreed to amount. :goodvibes

If anything is different, I'll post it here, once it arrives. My UPS deliveries usually arrive about 6:30 p.m.
 
I received my shipment yesterday and the slippers do run small. I was going to give a pair to a friend but I think her feet are bigger than mine so there's no way they will fit. I'll just have to wear them in and hopefully they will stretch out.

The freebies are nice, and I gave the lotion set to my friend instead.
 
Note to self: Don't share good deals with coworkers... Last Monday I sent the codes to two of my coworkers, by the end of the day the email had spread across the company.

Everyone that I know has either gotten their shipments or they are on their way... Except for one trouble maker... she didn't get hers quick enough for her liking & called VS. Made a fuss about the ship date, was put on hold for 15 minutes at which point the Rep told her that her order was cancelled & that the Fraud department has been notified. Said co-worker named names of everyone here that placed orders & has now sent emails out to everyone else saying that the codes *I* provided were fraudulent & that no one would be getting their orders....

Luckily everyone else & stepped up & defended me saying that they didn't have any issues with their orders... We all think that she basically 'called' herself out to VS & that they cancelled her order while on hold.

As my Dad used to say "No good deed goes unpunished!"
 
WOW!!! I just came here to post that my stuff came in today and then I read about all the trouble!! Glad I got mine!!!

This is starting to remind me of the Disney TVs at Sears last year. Once folks started ordering more than one TV they pulled the offer.

THANK you OP for posting about this. This offer was a blessing for me.
 
Got mine too! :thumbsup2 Everything looks so cute. Hopefully the pj's will fit DD. My cami is a tad big, but it's 95% cotton, so I'm sure it will shrink some in the wash. Guess I was one of the lucky ones....Thanks so much for sharing!!!!
 
Everything looks nice, Did not have PJ set... Hopefully it will be here soon, I wish I had known how nice it was, I would have ordered one for my sister... But I am happy with what I got.. I think my daughter would like the perfume set.... Thanks for letting us know about this...
Oh by the way, I ordered mine last tuesday 12/12....

Sheesh, my order supposedly shipped the day you placed yours and I still have not received it.

I get that we're way out west, but come on. Maybe they decided to ship via pony express.
 
I placed one order 12/9 and another 12/10 and I have nothing yet. They were promised by 12/22 so we'll see.
 
Since the size small slippers are so tiny and I'm not sure I can use them, I was thinking about donating them to a local senior home. Surely some little old lady would be happy to receive them. And, maybe she'd feel like one hot mamma getting something from VS. ;)

I placed two orders - and received the 2nd order yesterday (all items including free ones). I emailed customer service asking why the 1st said still processing. Well, today I received the 1st order - one pair of free slippers was missing but a letter was inside saying they were being shipped separately. I then received an email from customer service saying they had shipped the package yesterday. Then this blurb...


For future orders, please note each of our free items require a purchase. Unfortunately, you are not allowed 5 free items with only three purchased items. We apologize if this caused any confusion.

Well, technically, she's referring to the order I had already received and wasn't inquiring about.

1st order (that I emailed about): I purchased 1 item (t-shirt PJs) and received 4 free items (2 pair slippers, the lotion, and fragrances).

2nd order: I purchased 3 items (bra and 2 pair of PJs) and received 5 free items (underwear, 2 pair slippers, the lotion, and fragrances).

Ha. I received all the free items. Well, almost. At least they promised one of the free pair of slippers.At least my nieces and sisters will have some good extra gifts, and I'll have some cool slippers.

Hmm... Probably marked in my file now. I did spend over $130 total... but then again - I am a bottom feeder after all! ;)
