Me and the DW (assuming Disney wife?) are headed there for our honeymoon 10/17 for 6 nights at the Floridian.
Trying to decide between Victoria and Alberts or California Grill.
Thanks for the help.

I think either is a great choice. At this late date, you might let who can give you the best Reservation time that fits into your schedule. Since you are staying at the GF, I would go with V&A, IMHO.

Either way, you will have a great meal!

For honeymoon, no question, Victoria & Alberts. Much more private and romantic (CA Grill is usually pretty noisy). V&A does have a dress code but it's well worth it.

Moving this to the Restaurant Board. The Dining Review Board is just for people posting reviews of their meals.
thanks,

I think V & A's would be a much more intimate experience for your honeymoon.

If you do forget a jacket, they do have loaner jackets.

Hubby surprised me with a visit to V&A so I was unable to remind him about his jacket and he accidentally forgot it. V&A was able to loan him one so that we could still dine.

From the more recent reviews of CG--I wouldn't go there for a special romantic evening.

Hands down, V & A for a romantic honeymoon dinner! We dined there for the first time in Dec. 06 for our 4th anniversary.

DH was complaining before the trip about the aggravation of packing a suit-this is a vacation, dog gone it!

He complained on the taxi ride there, on the elevator up. But after the first course, he whispered to me, "This was definitely worth bringing a suit!" We still talk about that meal!
