I know that you can book 180 days out. However, I have never eaten at V & A's, so I am not sure about your other question. I am sure that someone on here can help you out!
Enjoy!
I am not sure they accommodate large groups. It would really throw off the whole dynamic of the place. It is a very intimate, romantic restaurant with very personalized service. Even the dining room is set up in a very intimate way with the tables for two very spaced out. I do think there is a little room off to the side with doors (secondary dining room), so perhaps if they aren't busy, they'd let you be in that room with just your party. No offense, but I wouldn't want to eat here near a party of 10 people.
Yes, you can have a party of 10 if the side room isn't booked by a private party. I'm also not sure how they'd handle it inside the restaurant. I don't agree with the PP. I think that a large party could have a great time there.
You were able to book 180 days out, but like everything else at WDW, it's currently undergoing the switch to 90 days. I don't know what their furthest booking date is right now, but you can find out by following the voice prompts on 407-WDW-DINE for Victoria and Albert's.
When we dined at V&A earlier this month there was a very large party in the side dining room...I'd guess 20-24. I saw two large round tables set for the party.
We were told that V&A limits the total # dining/night to ensure that everyone has a wonderful experience. As a result the tables in the main dining room that night were not all occupied.
I meant I, dining with my husband in a party of two, would not appreciate or enjoy a table for 10 seated in the main dining room. IMO, it would lose the romance & intimacy. If in the outer dining room, I am sure it would be fine.

I definitely understand that! Large partied tend to be louder which is also understandable, you need to speak up for everyone to hear.
I guess I am with conandrob240, I would be very annoyed at the restaurant for allowing such a large party to not be seated more privately. It's not like it's Red Robin.
I believe there is a $1,500 minimum for use of the private dining room. Since the menu price for 10 people would be $1,250, all that would be needed is for a few people to take the wine pairings or having around of drinks or adding some of the extra cost items to reach this minimum.
If you call 407-WDW-DINE and press for V&A at the prompt you will be able to get the specific information.
Note that V&A uses the 90 day policy just as all the other restaurants. At the time the switch was made from 180 to 90 reservations that were already made remain valid but cannot be modified until they are within the 90 day period.
Thank you to all who took the time to respond, I'll start my 90 day countdown, as all of our reservations only intersect the last weekend in July. And yes, I would imagine that our group would be louder than most couples. My kids are finally old enough to enjoy a pizza, a visit to community hall, and some quiet time, while we get to enjoy some quality time with great friends and a fabulous meal.
