Victoria & Albert's

Yes - and I loved it!! :) Other than the company - my ex and I weren't getting along at the time. Bless Albert's heart, he could tell we were crabby, and would make really corny (on purpose) jokes to lighten the mood. (He got a BIG tip.) The menu changes daily, so I don't know that describing what I ate would help you. Service was just ridiculously good - Victoria literally refilled our (non-alcoholic) drinks after every two sips. Do you have any specific questions I could try to answer? I'm sure Uncleromulus will be along to this thread shortly too - he and his DW have eaten at V&A's many times.

We dined at V&A in 2002 and it was worth every penny!

As stated above the menu changes every day, but there was a very nice selection (meat, seafood, etc). If you need something special relating to allergys, just call in advance.

I think one the things that might get over looked is to allow plenty of time for the meal. Most of time at WDW people get use to rushing. Don't rush at V&A. Take your time and enjoy the wonderful meal.

Went to V&A Sept. 2002, we were spoiled rotten. We were mostly drinking water this trip and even the water here is bottled. The service was out of this world, the food was simply amazing, and it was wonderful to unwind in this height of luxury.

Well-it's 5:30 AM and Uncleromulus' dogs have gotten him way too early yet again. But groggy though he may be, he can always spot the V&A threads:D :D
Actually, there are a # of threads about V&A on the board and if your SEARCH function is operational, you might enjoy reading some of them. Many are detailed reviews.
I can recommend it as the ultimate Disney dining experience. Any particular questions tho??

My boyfriend and I were researching V&A's, and it appears to be well worth the cost. We just wanted to get a general consensus before we set a date.:earsboy:

If you like fine dining, then this probably the restaurant for you. Apparently, it is the only five-star restaraunt at Walt Disney World and one of only sixteen in the whole state of Florida. I have eaten there twice. Eignt years ago by myself and four years ago with my sister. Enjoyed both meals. But, be prepared for a long dinner. I remember both meals lasting about two hours. And be sure to check out the restrooms. Quite fancy.

A HUGE recommendation from me too. I ate there on Christmas Day, just a few short weeks ago!

Total luxury, exquisite food and presentation. The ultimate in fine dining.

I am planning on returning during my July trip.

We've dined there twice in the past seven months. Loved it each time and is weel worth the $$$$$. It is a splurge but you will enjoy every minute of it.

Here is a fantastic review for you to check, mainly b/c I wrote it. LOL Like Uncleromulus said, do a search for V&A's, there are a bunch of great reviews. This is a dinner that you will get hooked on.

Here is My Review

We loved it!!!!! It is a splurge, but worth every penny. The wait staff is so attentive, but yet down to earth. It is so elegant, yet not stuffy. The harp music is simply magical. The best part of the meal was the chocolate souflee (don't know how to spell it) but it was soooooooooo yummy!
