I will be celebrating my wedding anniversary whilst on holiday in October 2008,can anyone advise when i can book a reservation for V&A and what the dress code is.
Any info greatly appreciated.

It is 180 days out for a reservation that is a confirmed time and date with CC taken for the booking. Dress code is formal jacket and tie for men and ladies likewise something smart a dress, skirt and nice top or suit.

Clair is right, it is formal, but in the US they interpret that as a jacket for men (over a collared shirt) with the tie being optional!

Lat time we went we were on the way and OH was wearing his tie, we overheard a strong US accents saying "gee, they must be British, he's wearing a tie!"

V & A will be perfect for your Anniversary. You can call at 180 days and will need to have a credit card to confirm the booking.

We went in April and DH was wearing a nice top, jacket and trousers. I wore a nice top, skirt and jacket.
