No, they were the hired help. We borrowed a "page" from the Dixie Amos book of doing WDW. They were extremely helpful at carrying our packages. They were even kind enough to carry PandyPaws piggyback style when her feet began to hurt.

Vicky I am glad you found my advise to be beneficial. It is so much easier to have the hired help carry your packages, it saves straining your fingers.
