Hi, everyone!! I promise this is my last request for our trip!

Vickxo very kindly designed a set of Toy Story stars for me, & I need help with some more.

I love this one - especially how the name fits the style of the character.

However, my DH & I were talking, & we're afraid that my older DS is NOT going to like having Woody for his character - he's going to think he's too old for Toy Story. And I know that I should have thought of that earlier!! This trip is a surprise for them, & I can't ask them which character they would prefer. While I thought it would be cute if we were all Toy Story characters, I'm sort of agreeing with DH that our older DD & DS are not going to like it as well.

Anyway, so we got to talking & came up w/ some other ideas... We still want the character stars because we think it fits the Disney Studios theme really well.

* For DH, would it be possible to get a character star w/ Mickey Mouse w/ the Rockin' Rollercoaster guitar? If no one has clipart for that, I found one...

The name underneath the star would be - Jason.

* For me, well... I'm having a hard time deciding. I like the character of Wendy for obvious reasons but I'm trying to use characters that are usually found in Disney Studios. So for me, either Minnie Mouse as Princess Leia or Mickey in his Sorcerer Hat.

The name underneath the star would be - Wendy.

* For DD, I like Belle in her blue dress (for the "Beauty & Beast" Show).

The name underneath would be - Beth.

* And, for older DS, I like Phineas!

The name underneath would be - Chris.

Then, for the back of our shirts, I would like a corresponding "text" box that goes with the character...

Rockin' Rollercoaster Mickey - Dream On.

Princess Leia - May the magic be with you...

Belle - I want adventure in the great wide somewhere!

Phineas - I know what we're gonna do today!

Buzz - To Infinity and Beyond!

These would be on navy blue shirts, so the text couldn't be black. The text boxes could even have little stars or something like pixie dust... or maybe the "font style" could go with the character style as well...

Thank you SO MUCH to anyone who can help me!!

what size do you want the text boxes? single or multiple lines for the longer ones?

Marion, you rock! You really do!!

Multiple lines are fine.

Does what I tried to explain about the text boxes make sense? I just thought it would be cute to have a "saying" on the back of our shirts to go w/ the characters & also w/ the Disney "theme" of dreams/magic...

As an aside, I asked my DH if the text boxes would be dorky. He replied, "We're wearing matching shirts. We're already dorky." :rotfl2:

I put a navy border around the letters to assist with you cutting out the sayings...

Those are so cool!!

(Sorry I'm just now responding... I've had the kids around me all day!)

I love the font! The size is good too!

I'm wondering about the color... they are going on navy blue shirts which will be with navy & white plaid shorts (me & DD) and navy, green, & white plaid shorts for the boys.

Do you think a white fill would look better (instead of the gold)? Would white show up?

AND, I was thinking ("a dangerous past-time, I know..."), originally, I was thinking that the font of each person's name underneath the star on the fronts of the shirts needed to be in the "style" of the character.... BUT the font you have for the back of the shirts is really cool (& goes well w/ the Buzz star)... Maybe each of the names under the stars should be in this cool font... That way the back of the shirts coordinate w/ the front of the shirt.. and it looks really cool & edgy. Does that make sense?

The Rockin' Rollercoaster Mickey, Star Wars Minnie, Belle w/ a book in her blue dress, Phineas, & Buzz... each in a star w/ each person's name in the matching font.

Would that look okay?

Sorry.....I don't have appropriate clip art for 3 of the 4

Okay...

I'm looking for some clip art.

But, maybe, I'll have to rethink our DHS shirts again... :upsidedow
