How bad is the vibration on Deck 2? We are staying in room 2073

I stayed on deck 2 and I had the best sleep ever. My room was 2086 and we loved it. If their was noise or vibration then we never heard it.

Hi,

I have sailed on 'deck 2' twice, once at the front of the ship and once in the back. My last room number from this year's sailing was #2150. Both times I didn't have a problem sleeping and actually their wasn't any noise or vibrations until docking. At that point you will hear and feel the ropes being secured and the motors turning the ship, but it's no big deal. It's a great wake up call and the first time you go on this cruise you'll be up anyway especially if you have a window or balcony so you can watch the ship pull into the harbor and dock.

Have fun! Mmketeer
Next cruise: Nov. 14th, 2002. "Wonder"

Hi. I stayed right next door in 2072. It was nice and QUIET. No vibration at all, except for what Mmketeer said, when docking. Actually, I had forgotten about THAT even until I just read that post and it reminded me... We've already booked the same cabin for our next cruise. Although, actually I'm considering a category 6 this time, just to see what it'd be like. ( is it worth the $648.00 more??? OPINIONS please..)

I said it before and I'll say it again...I love Deck 2. We were on deck 2 twice, once right under the night club and it didn't bother us a bit. I like to be close to the water and the elevators were never full.

I beg to differ - you all are wrong!

The best cabin is 2077 - no noise or vibrations. But then if you want noise - I've got 2 kids.

Dont hesitate - Deck 2 is GREAT.

Most of Deck 2 is VERY quiet. It's only at the butt-end of the ship on Deck 2 where you can feel the vibration... and it's very noticeable back there.
