Via Napoli?

We have a reservation for 8 at Via Napoli. 4 ladies and 4 kids.

We are thinking we can order an Extra Large and a Large Pizza and the Family House salad and be OK.
Is this too much food or not enough? Thoughts?

More than enough food. We've easily done 5 adults and two kids and been perfectly fine with one mezza metro. The thing is huge.

Can I ask an add-on question? The family salad--do you need to order it for the same number as at the table? In other words, if we have 4 people, can we order enough salad just for 2? Or is it per person? We might just want a little to go with our pizza, but probably don't need 4 "servings".

Yes, you can order per person and not everyone at the table has to get it. Warning though, it is not AYCTE (ie Olive Garden). If you ask for a refill, you will be charged again. I honestly feel getting it for two people is not a good value at all.

Honestly, I don't think it is enough. We ate there twice last week and we are not big eaters. We got the Mezzo Metro both times (serves 3 - 5 according to All Ears) and we had 5 people [2 kids, 3 adults]and finished it off clean. It looks huge when they put it on the table, but upon further inspection, it's really smaller than 2 large pizzas combined in which you would get at home. The crust is super thin. I know that you are getting salad too, but the pizza really doesn't serve as much as you would think.

We ate there about 2 weeks ago. We are 2 adults and 3 kids. We ordered a Mezzo Metro and a Large and finished them off. One kid didn't eat much either. While I would say we are usually big eaters, while on vacation we are not, I think the heat affects our hunger. Also as someone else mentioned the crust is thin so it isn't as filing as many other pizzas, so in my opinion you would need more.

I honestly am not sure since we just had the Mezzo Metro. I'm sure you can see the different sizes there and maybe the servers can tell you as well. Have a wonderful trip!!
