Via Napoli

We looooove Via Napoli, and think the Quattro Formaggio pizza is to die for. Be aware that it is a white pizza, with no tomato sauce. Here are some photos of our food -

Ok that I did not know....not sure I would like it without the sauce

On the menu, the pizza options are very "unusual". Can you order just plain sausage pizza?

TIA!

there is an option to start with a "plain" pizza (sauce, mozzarella & basil) and add toppings as you like from a list of most of the usual ones. Check allearsnet.com.

The pizzas that most of you are describing are real Italian pizzas, like from Italy. Their sauce is usually very thin and there's not a whole lot on the pizzas usually. You should expect a thin but not necessarily crispy crust. Authentic Italian food is a bit different than what we traditionally eat here in the USA. It's delicious but a little different.

We went during the soft opening last August before reservations were accepted. It was the best pizza we've ever had at WDW and my husband has asked me to book it twice during our upcoming September trip. We were a party of 8 and shared 2 of the largest size pizzas--one was a Margherita (tomato sauce, basil, mozzarella) and the other was 1/ Quattro Formaggio and 1/2 pepperoni. DH and DD7 LOVED the Quattro, DD9 and myself loved the Margherita. Can't wait to go back.

Pizza was not invented in Italy so Italian pizzas are no more "real" Italian than "chop suey" is real Chinese.

I thought about trying Via Napoli....but I just can't get into thin pizza. I need a thick crust, lots of cheese and toppings piled a mile high. :thumbsup2

plenty of other meals on the menu besides pizza. I was dissapointed that they only have veggie lasagna, but DW and DS both love Chicken Parm which they have as well as veal parm which I like. But I think I am gonna try the Candele which to me looks and the description sounds like a Meat lasagna, although sausage and not ground beef. There are plenty of things to choose from, we arent even going to get pizza, unless DS changes his mind after seeing somebody elses. he strictly likes cheese pizza though so not sure what they call it, but heres a pic of the candele:

We will be trying VN in August. I'm not a huge fan of pizza, so will likely try one of the other dishes. Interesting that the candele looks a lot like lasagne!

I can not wait to try Via Napoli in October , DH and I are both fans of thin crust pizza. We just recently found a pizza place that makes their pizza similar to the pizza we knew as kids in the hometown we lived in 40 years ago and are in heaven :cloud9:

As far a being worth 1 credit I priced out what I will probally order (on DxDP)Arancini -App $10, Ind Pizza - Entree $17, Teremisu -Dessert $8, Beverage $3, total $38 which I feel is a fair use of 1 credit based on -cost of DxDP $78.99 for 3 TS credits comes to a little over $26 per meal credit.
