Has anyone eaten at Via Napoli recently, who has a Peanut and Tree Nut Allergy?
I would love to try it, but it is always scary trying a new place with DS. He loves Pizza and Pasta. We would get the pizza, so I am sure he would love to try it too. Is it safe? Has anyone had the pizza there?

TIA

We ate there in June. DS6 has a peanut/tree nut allergy and the chef said the pizza was safe for him (at least what we ordered -- Quattro Formaggi). Btw, it was delicious!

Thank You, I am dying to try their pizza:)

OMG, that pizza sounds and looks amazing, I just looked it up. We are definitely trying it. Thank you:thumbsup2

Pizza dough and pasta are okay... but breadcrumbs are not, nor are some of the salumi and other salty cured meats due to cross-contamination risk. My DD has a severe PN and TNA, and we've eaten there for the past two years AND are going back next year. It's a family favorite!

That's good to know about the pizza dough and pasta, my son lives off that stuff. Every time we go and have the peanut allergy test, the numbers get higher and higher, so as you know it is so scary eating out with them.

Thank you for the info.

May I hijack to ask, how are they with allergies in general? We have a res there in Dec (CP) and I am trying to decide whether or not to keep it.

Disney is Great with allergies. Whenever we we try a new place in Epcot I get worried, only because of the different counties I know they are not Disney owned and language barrier can be a problem at times, but I personally never experienced any problems at any restaurants.
Always make your allergies on your ADR's and tell your waiters. Chef's will always come out and go over the menu with you or walk you through a buffet.
Disney is one place we are comfortable eating out at.

Yes! Disney in general is amazing. We have learned to stick with the Disney-owned & operated restaurants, as we are very (very) familiar with the allergy protocols. If necessary, we can educate the chef, as a member of our party has an allergy (latex) that necessitates an unusual protocol - it is sometimes a bit of a humorous mess! LOL! I know some of the non-Disney-owned restaurants are okay, and others are nightmares (France, I'm looking at you!) so I was hoping to confirm VN was able to handle a laundry list of allergies without an issue. They are the only CP res that appealed to us in our price range, but it's not worth it if we can't eat safely.
