Via Napoli vs. Wolfgang Puck pizza?

To those who have had both, which is better ?

Sorry never had wolfgang but via napoli pizza is really good cant wait to go back in dec to have more.

I had a pizza at the Wolfgang Puck Express (counter service) and it was DELICIOUS!! I haven't had Via Napoli yet, but since one is CS & one is TS, I'm doing both when we're there in 2 weeks.

So far we got one for via napoil and one wolfgang mybe someone who eat at both we tell which is better. I vote via napoil but that just me.

I really like WPE, but I did not like the pizza at all.

The dough was not cooked enough and the meatballs were luke warm at best.
I have heard this same complaint from others.

I can't recommend it myself amd will not try it again.

The spaghetti and meatballs was really good though, especially for a CS credit.

DH just had both a few weeks ago.

Via Napoli: He had the Quattro Stagioni - eggplant, artichokes, prosciutto, mushrooms.

WPE: He had the Roasted Seasonal Vegetables - pesto and buffalo mozzarella.

His reviews:
Via Napoli - Crust was very thin and crunchy. The sauce was very good, but very light. The toppings were fabulous. They were the best part without a doubt. They all had tons of flavor and were very fresh.
WPE: Crust was a little thicker, a lot more sauce vs. Via Napoli. The roasted vegetables were fantastic and there were plenty of them.

So he loved them both but if he had to pick the *winner* - very slight edge to Via Napoli. The crust was what put it over the top for him. Both had fabulous toppings, but the crust at Via Napoli was thinner and crisper.

Via Napoli is much closer to a true pizza from Italy - not as good , but close.

The other is more of a "California" pizza - with the term pizza used loosely.

Both are good in thier own repsects.

Not a fan of Wolfgang Puck Pizza...enjoy the other dishes there much more. Haven't had Via Napoli yet, but it looks much better.

Just returned on Friday & had both Via Napoli & WPE pizzas while away.

4 of us each had a different pizza at Napoli & non of us loved them. All declared them "just ok" & actually talked about how WPE won the pizza war with us

Aside from which, I think if you are going to charge $16 for a 9" pie it better be worth it. For us, it wasn't.

I agree 100%, hopefully it will get better. They did just open.

IMO - if you were going to pick between the two and are on the DDP I would go with WPE for the price difference. It is only 1 QS Credit.
