Via Napoli thin crust pizza

For us, it was thin, but it wasn't crispy, but I wouldn't call it soggy. It was soft (cooked in a brick oven). It was soft with some charring on the bottom of the crust, but it didn't taste burnt at all. I enjoyed the pizza and would go there again.

For us, it was very soggy. We live outside New Haven, CT where we have the best pizza in the world. We were very disappointed with Via Napoli and would never go back.

The pizza is the closest I have had to NYC pizza, outside of NYC. It is not like a Midwest "cracker" crust pizza, nor is it soggy. It is seared on the bottom, yet a bit soft on the bite. Overall very enjoyable.

Lots of people have complained about the "burnt" spots, so sometimes it comes out underdone. I just always make sure to ask them to get it nice and done. Like the others have said, the "burnt" spots really aren't burnt tasting. I love their pizza!

It's crisp on the crust, less so in the middle. I am a Midwestern pizza lover (as stated above...very thin, crackery kind), and this was close to that...a little thicker. I loved it, though!

It is not New Haven Pizza, but it was really good! Once you move North of New Haven... you get decent pizza, but no thin crust. At least not where we are on the northern border.

My son works in Wallingford and he will take his in laws to New Haven for pizza when they visit. Theirs is not good at all!!! LOL!
