Via Napoli question

if we are sharing a large pizza for a group of 4 adults, but two of us are on the dining plan and 2 paying OOP, how does the billing work?

My understanding is in order to do that you would all need to pay OOP and those on the dining plan could use the credits elsewhere. To use the dining plan at Via Napoli, each person on the plan must order an individual pizza or entree.

You cannot use dining credits if you want to share a pizza.

This is the thing with being on the DDP and eating at Via Napoli. You are limited if you want to order pizza- it has to be one of the individual pizzas, at least this was my experience last November. You'd all have to pay out of pocket if you want to share a large pizza.

I had a question about this as well. We will be group of 11, with 7 on the dining plan. Does anyone know if we can use the dining plan for some of those on the dining plan and then adding a couple of pizzas OOP. We are on the deluxe plan, so I thought we could use around 5 credits, order some entrees and apps, and then a couple of pizzas.

I wouldn't count on it at Via Napoli. They are very picky and very strict with DDP and OOP sharing. You can always ask, but expect to be told that all seven have to order and the 4 not on the plan cannot share with them or be prepared to just pay OOP for everyone.
