Via Napoli Pizza Window?

I was just lamenting that I had to switch my EP day because I could not get a FEA FP for my planned day, and now with the switch I can't get a Via Napoli reservation. I realize it is "just pizza" but it's my favorite! I just read something about VN to go from some pizza window? Can someone elaborate for me?

They have a to-go window but it's not the same pizza that they serve in the restaurant. It's really pretty gross, with a thick & soggy crust.

You cannot get Via Napoli pizza without going into Via Napoli. The pizza at the window is typical lousy disney pizza.

And the pizza window is not always open; only during VERY busy times.

Calling that window a "Via Napoli Pizza Window" is completely wrong. Although its adjacent to the restaurant, and apparently Disney wants you to think that you would be getting VN pizza, its more of a bait and switch scheme. The actual pizza you get from that window is no different from the counter service pizzas you get at any other WDW park. Don't fall for it.

Wow, prime lunch hour. Good for you! Their pizza is awesome, love it. As stated by others, that window is not made by via Napoli. And its also not always open. Only during peak periods apparently.

Thanks for the info.. we almost fell for it one night but decided on snacks instead.
