Hard to judge from the vast number of people here with different views on volume dining. Some folks believe that if you don't leave groaning and stuffed, you have been cheated. The
DDP, with all its desserts and snacks, basically conditions guests to eat 3,000 calories a day, which many here love. For many others, that is way too much food. When I went, we were a table of 3 grown men. We ordered a salad for the table, and each of us ordered our own pizza. The 300 pound guy ate all of his. The 200 pound guy ate 4/5ths of his and the 180 pound guy (me) ate 3/4 of his. If I were splitting this with my wife, I would add an app to share (other than the salad). In other words, a shared app and a shared personal pizza would be fine for us. But we try not to approach every meal as a "Man vs. Food" challenge.
