via napoli pizza how is it?

I guess I'm confused about the pizza ... Can you get just a cheese pizza or is it specialty type pizza only? :confused3

They have both. Like many pizza joints, they have a list of specialty pies, but also allow you to customize with anything you like. I believe there is also a specialty 4-cheese pizza.

We really enjoyed Via Napoli when we went before the Princess 1/2 marathon. We met some friends who had been before and suggested it. I wasn't sure because we've always avoided Italy as we have good, fresh Italian back home. We ended up loving it and have made an ADR for our upcoming trip. We are fans of thin crust pizza and this is certainly good, but it is more like the pizza you get in Italy rather than Americanized pizza.

We are from Arizona (home of Pizzeria Bianco, named more than once as a top 10 pizza places in the US) and central Illinois, both regions where thin crust pizza cut into squares is more common than Chicago style

We went into VN on a whim and got seated right away. My husband and I enjoyed the melon and prosciutto pizza and our kids got the spicy sausage pizza to share. It was very good but very spicy. My kid are kind of weird and dig spicy but it was too the edge for them. We also enjoyed the shared family style salad.

My only complaint . . . it is loud . . . very loud!

:rotfl2: wow, 5 times. You are a big fan!! :lmao:
Quite simply put, it's the best pizza I have ever had. And I'm a pizza junkie.

No exaggeration - On our trip last month, we ate there 5 times.

One word for you, HEAVEN!!!!!!!!! :cloud9: Their pizza is heavenly. Click on both dining review links below to see pics of the pizza, pasta, and dessert. We eat there every trip!

Hi! :wave2: Wife here. Posting a couple of pictures.

We also love the family style salad and pizza. Our current fav is Carciofi! We eat there every trip which is twice a year. We have good pizza at home (Jersey Shore) but VN is better!

My family and I have been to Italy on a number of occasions, and if you like pizza very close to how Italian's in Italy like pizza, then you will like Via Napoli pizza.

We liked it very much. Went a few times last time around at the world. :goodvibes

Cheers,
Zebsterama

We have ADR during our trip first week of June for a group of 13. I have read mixed reviews about the sausage they use. Some sya it is very spicey some say it is just the right amount of spice. Could I get a few comparisons so we have a better idea if its something we would like?

it is soooo good! We tried it for the first time over spring break and ended up making a reservation for a second meal later in the week. we also have two reservations there for our next trip.

I will say, both DH and I thought that the sauce had a very strong white wine taste to it.

For DH and I who don't like wine that was a bad thing and neither of us is in any hurry to go back to Via Napoli.

I really enjoyed the pizza at Via Napoli, my DH didn't think there was enough pepperoni on his..:lmao:

It's a must for us. We love their pizza and get our pizza fix during our trip. We don't eat Disney pizza other than Via Napoli.

To be honest we had very low expectations but were thrilled when it was fantastic. Not disney pizza at all. I am finding a way to fit it into our next trip!
