Via Napoli or Tutto Italia?

Between the 2 , I would pick Tutto Italia. A much better menu. Other than over priced pizza, Via Napoli doesn't offer much, IMHO. However, if I want Italian food at WDW, we are heading to Il Mulino. Haven't found any other Italian restaurant at WDW that comes close.

We ate at Trattoria Al Forno in April. First time, as we have friends who highly recommend. Along with Le Cellier and Cali Grill (screaming kids , slow service at both of those) , it was one of the worst 3 meals of our trip. It could have been an off night, but it started with the parking lot being full. We waited half an hour after our ADR, and were seated at a 2 top jammed in between 2 other tables. I had said we would wait to be not I the middle of the room, and they said no requests. Our server was slammed. We got our starters , bruschetta and salads, at the same time as the entrees, so the table was excessively crowded. Server nowhere around to send back. Red pepper flakes took 15 minutes to arrive. The lasagna was cold in the middle and undercooked, and the fish was overdone. I did talk to a manager and commended our server, who was personable , and also pointed out the timing issues with food running, and the off cooking times. Dessert was offered for free, but we’d been there long enough. It was as loud as a Chuck E. Cheese. My friend who loves it there told me she has never had an experience like that and to give it another shot. But we really wished we had eaten at Tutto Italia!

Tuttu is under-rated IMO........a must-do for us every trip--and I agree the comment above about the lasagna! We are also big Il Mulino fans, but you will pay more there, than you would at Tuttu. Not huge fan of Trattoria, but it is decent at best---slower service, and I'd compare to basically one step above an Olive Garden.

Although not Epcot, we have been pleasantly surprised by Enzo's Hideway too.

Tutto Italia's really been dumbed down. Chicken Parm? Spaghetti and meatballs? Really!? I always wonder what the Italian staff thinks of that. It's elevated Olive Garden for the turistas, at three times the cost. What a shame, because eating out on the patio in good weather is so nice. I just can't.

Via Napoli, on the other hand, delivers authentic Neapolitan pizza, whether you like it or not. But of course, they have to put that damned Chicken Parm on the menu there too. 'Cause it ain't Eye-talian without it.
