Via Napoli - Italy's New Pizzeria

Anyone have any updates on this restaurant (i.e. menu, pricing, disney dining plan eligibile)?

I spoke with dining reservations because I was hoping to be able to make a reservation online but they told me that they don't know when they'll open, they don't know if it will be a TS or CS and they don't have a name.

There is little information, but lots of speculation.

a) The official name has been released as mentioned. It will be located in Italy (yes yes, I know we all know this).

b) TS or CS? This has not been officially officially announced. However, according to the blog point regarding the restaurant, all indications are for it to be a TS location.

c) There are some rumors (nothing confirmed) that it may include a take-out window. These rumors are based on another restaurant of the same company including one somewhere (I think at another park... although I'm not 100% sure on that).

d) There is no information regarding the DDP status. I would venture to guess that they would be included, since the actual owner is the same as Tutto (I believe, I think I read this in the aforementioned blog post. I could be wrong though...), that's just my own guess though.

e) There is no opening date set yet. Since there is no opening date, there's definitely no ADR date set. We would guess that ADRs would be announced and opened sometime after a hard set opening date.

It's at Downtown Disney Anaheim (Disneyland Resort). And yes, it's run by the Patina Group, which also runs Tutto Italia. (They also have a restaurant/pizzeria in New York City)

Disney Parks Blog, for what it's worth, said ADRs will be available in "July or August," nothing more specific than that. No dining plan information yet.

f) Also forgot to add, there is little information regarding the menu. There will be "traditional" brick oven pizzas made with imported water from Napoli (specifically mentioned so as to get the traditional taste as close as possible). Other items and pricing have not yet been released.

(In general I think the food prices at Disneyland are a bit higher than at WDW but that may or may not be the case with the new restaurant, who knows. Disneyland also doesn't have a dining plan that would affect the restaurant there.)
