Via Napoli - counter or sit down?

we’d like to try via Napoli on our upcoming trip. I see on TP they have a sit down and a counter service/walk up window. I don’t know if we want to spend our time sitting down for lunch. Is the counter service food the same? Is the restaurant (interior/CM,etc) something that’s not to be missed?

My understanding is that the counter service pizza is not the same as inside the restaurant. Which seems weird to me, but there you go.
I don't think I'd call the restaurant a don't miss, but we like the pizza inside very much. Sometimes we just like having a sit down out of the sun in the middle of the day. We can hydrate and rest for a bit, so we're ready for the afternoon.
World showcase does have some fabulous counter service options elsewhere though. Morocco is our personal favorite.

I have no experience with the counter, but the pizza inside is quite good. We eat here each Disney trip. My husband LOVES the pizza and it's a do not miss in his book. I'd say it's worth a reservation and with that being said, even with a reservation sometimes we wait 20 minutes for our table. It's always packed at Via Napoli.

Whatever you do, avoid the counter service like the plague. It was the worst piece of $7 pizza I've ever eaten in my life. And I love the typical Disney pizza that everyone seems to hate.

I wouldn't put it as a don't miss. Its good pizza. If you really want pizza, its probably the best that you will get at WDW. For us, there are so many other options we want to try, and we can get good pizza at home. When our kids went with us, we would eat there and it was good. Crowded and noisy most of the time.

Counter service is very different. Not same pizza at all. I like the pizza inside the regular Via Napoli very much - living in FL having moved from NorthEast, is a pleasure to find good pizza. Also think it a good, economical (for Disney) choice if sharing a salad and pizza. Also think, as table service goes, this is one of the quicker stops - especially if doing pizza. Not sure I’d categorize as don’t miss but a good solid choice for a guaranteed sit-down break in the day.

Just to reinforce that decision, the counter pizza window is RARELY, if ever, open.
