Does anyone know where I could go & take a VHS tape and have it copied onto a disk? My mom found old tapes from my childhood & I would love to show my kids, but we don't have a tape player. Anyone know how much this costs to have done? I don't want to spend too much. I want them on a disk (instead of just buying a tape player) so I can load them into my computer & then watch them on our Apple TV.

Thanks!

you can take them to Walgreens or Walmart and they send them to a service to be transfered. I had some done and it was about 30.00. you can also get them transfered from super 8 tapes as well. It takes about 2 weeks when they are not busy!

I have no idea how much it costs, but I saw Costco advertising this not too long ago (also slide to digital prints). Might be wroth trying there or another bulk warehouse store if you have a membership.

We just had ours done through CVS. It was $20 for 1 VHS to DVD and $30 for 2 VHS tapes to 1 DVD. They also emailed a link so we can watch them online.

Thank you all so much for the info!!!
