vh booking Q

HAs anyone ever booked a few nights at a hotel with VH then had an independent stay for the rest of the trip? I know it can be done but are there a minimum number of nights that you have to stay at the hotel?

I've done it quite a few times with them - this year I have just 4 nights booked in NY with them, we have booked the Orlando part independently. I don't think there are a minimum number of nights - they have certainly never mentioned it and this is the third time I've done independant stays. If you are booking a car you could just book the trip as a fly-drive - you're not expected to make any room bookings with them then.

I've got a feeling that if you decide to book a Disney hotel through VH you must book a minimum of a 5 night stay. I don't think that applies to any other hotels.
