VGF room sizes? More info attached

Has Disney/DVD released the room sizes (sq. ft) for the VGF?
I hope they don't continue to shrink the space.

Thanks Bill. Nice size rooms. The rooms are similar in size to the VGC rooms except for the GV. The studio, 1BR and 2BR at OKW are slightly larger, but VGFs grand villa at 2800 sq. ft. is much larger than all of the other GVs. Anywhere from 300 to 500 sq. ft. bigger.

I agree, that's something my husband would have thought to add into a new construction Personally would have preferred on in the kitchen or eating area for the kids.

Hopefully they considered it and the remote from the bedroom will work in the bathroom. Otherwise those dues might be going up quickly.

I thought that the Magic Band took the place of the remotes. You just wave your arm to change channels. It turn on and off you tap the band to the mirror.

It's a cool feature, but would be better suited for business travelers. I think kids will want to play with them at WDW.

What I'm really wondering about is the bathtub. It's very elegant but looks much smaller than the typical DVC whirlpool tub. I'm 5' 10" and I like to sprawl out in the tub - I don't see that being possible in the VGF bathtub.

The lock-off 2BRs are listed to sleep 10. The lock-off will probably become popular for larger groups as the only DVC room that can actually accommodate 10. For the same pts as a dedicated 2BR that only sleeps 9.

I would think given the size and the limited lock-off rooms available that studios, 1BRs or a 2BR LO will become some of the toughest DVC rooms to get at 7mo.

Question, does the free standing tub with air jets mean it will have a shower head as well? I am guessing no, but it would be nice to have two shower options in the 1BR.

Still the biggest GV by a wide margin and bigger other rooms in all of WDW DVC other than OKW.

I'm sure someone has done the Sq. footage to point regression to find the best value in DVC. Clearly OKW is #1, but after that?

I don't have the sqft of the VGC, but I have them for the rest of the resorts. It seems that after OKW, GFV has the most sqft in their rooms.

The studio & 1 bedrooms are not small at all. For example, a BLT studio is 339 sqft and the GFV studio is 374 sqft. The BLT 1 bedroom is 803 sqft, and the GFV 1 bedroom is 844 sqft.

I thought under the bed was empty space to store your luggage. That's what I thought I saw in pictures.

Yeah, I just checked the pics & it's just empty space under the bed. It looks like 2 sections enough to fit a suitcase in each spot. No drawers are there. I suppose they could add drawers under there if they wanted to.

In the room photos I saw, the tub looks like a modern version of the old claw-footed tubs. There is no shower curtain around it and no evidence of a vertical pipe for a shower head.

That would be a huge help. The room photos show empty space under the bed but as we saw with AKV, the model rooms can change considerably after they first open.
