VGF QUESTIONS

Hi all. I have a stay in VGF in a one bedroom standard view. Does anyone have pictures of what the view is for the standards?
Is the store open (during renovations) for picking up some food items, water and wine?
Also, there is no need for us to go into the main building upon arrival if we have digital check in - has anyone had any trouble with using this?

Last time at VGF we had TERRIBLE trouble getting into our room with our MBs after doing online check-in. I had to make multiple trips to the main building reception to get the problem fixed. At least they were nice enough to comp me a night's worth of points to make up for the inconvenience.

There's only 1 "bad" view from a 1br std and that's 1223 (?) it's the 1br next to the studio that's 1221 (which is really bad - you can even look it up on google images) We got that as a lockoff 2br once, when we requested "high floor" (ETA 1221 is on the 2nd floor - bold number = floor number)
Other views are quite good, the higher the better.
Or ask for ground floor and you will have a short walk to everything, especially the feature pool, because there's a door at the end of the hallway that pouts you right there.

Thank you! I am not finding the view on google images (as mentioned above) from room 1223. I'm guessing that's a first floor room? I was going to request 2nd floor. Don't want to be "eye" level with monorail when I'm out there on the balcony in my pj's first thing in the morning

Does that sound decent? We recently stayed in the new resort studio's, which are gorgeous, but that was just DH and I. This time, with the ladies, I prefer the one bedroom in the villas building.

Just edited my post. NO do NOT request 2nd floor! The monorail passes quite far away so no one will really be able to see in the AM (and even if they do, too far away to see who it is! <--NYC resident speaking) Here are some great views from a 4th floor 1br STANDARD

We had views of the monorail, pool, and some fireworks (if I leaned out a little).

My MagicBand never works to open the door but I’m able to get in with my phone (the unlock my door feature on the app). I just pop by the front desk later on to get my MagicBand fixed.

Haven’t tried the store since renos began.

Here are some more standard views (all different rooms). The "bad" view is from the studio, 1221, so the 1BR next to it doesn't have quite the same head -on view.
